Born in Enna, Cristina Abbate was always attracted by the world of photography. Her journey led her first to a post-production trainee at a photo studio in her city and later to be an assistant photographer at the Italian Institute of Photography in Milan. She has created various autonomous projects, from the photographic realization of Sicilian stories and legends, to the vision of women in the modern era. For her, photography is like a movement, a flow through which the heart positions itself in the center and expands with its surroundings, an almost involuntary act that brings an opening to the world through the world itself.
