Michele Giambra

Was born in Caltanissetta on the 31st of july,1971.
My passion for photography starts very early, handed down by my father who loves photography. I still remember with emotion the long walks in nature or the races among the crowd to immortalize the captain of the Real Maestranza or the passing boat, every occasion was happy to immortalize the moment. I still keep my first analog SLR, purchased used with my first financial resources, and very happy, I was consuming one roll after another. After so many years of using the camera and a myriad of shots I realize that my photos did not give others the same emotions that they gave me. So I decide to enroll in a basic photography course, in fact since 2015 I start to be part of the Cultural Association of Photonauts, a group of people who love photography with the intention of sensitizing, promoting and enhancing the visual arts in all forms of expression. After the first lessons of the course I begin to understand what my gaps were and what my photos were missing. Since then I have continued to study the various photographic techniques and styles, the great master photographers of the past and present, exploring the various genres of photography, trying and retrying shot after shot. I love almost all kinds of photography but I prefer nature and landscape photography. With these three photos I wanted to summarize the course of life: The first photo represents the beginning of life, where we are protected and cared for by our parents and we feel invincible. The second photo represents our journey, through which we learn everything from those who preceded us, and then we continue alone to face all the pitfalls of life. The third and final photo represents the epilogue of life, no matter who you have been or what you have done, you just have to bow to the will of God.
