Is a qualified psychiatrist specialized in the University of Catania and Gestalt therapist with a doctorate in Neurovegetative Medicine at the University of Catania. He is the author of numerous publications in the psychiatric medical field, research and psychotherapy (about 50) book chapters and a books. He is secretary of the EAGT (European Association Gestalt Therapy), speaker and conductor of seminars in over 70 events in national and international conferences. He was the President of the SIPG (Italian Gestalt Psychotherapy Society), member of the EAGT Psychotherapy Research Committee. He completed an annual in-depth course in phototherapy and social photography with the acquisition of a specialization in phototherapy techniques by the basic course of Judy Weiser, Caviardage by Tina Festa and fundamentals of Photolangage at NetFo in Perugia. He is a mindfullness course, teacher and supervisor at the Gestalt H.C.C Italy Institute of Psychotherapy with specificities relating to body processes, groups, psychopathology and the use of images in therapy, didactic coordinator of the short master in artistic therapy of the Gestalt Institute HCC Italy. He supervises and prepares supervision and training courses for the staff of healthcare and corporate structures, dealing with the following topics: psychopathology, organization of healthcare structures, empathy, communication, leadership, corporeality, creativity, awareness, neuroscience applied to communication, use of images and videos in groups. For several years he has began to combine the passion of photography with psychotherapy, communication with groups and bodily processes. He presented creative experiments for Sicilian cities where a central role has always been assigned to observation and group processes. He coordinated interventions with high school teenagers to discuss the role of selfies, portraits and the evocative power of images. His exhibitions / performances were: Sensi and Gestalt, Cretivity Moment, Feeling the mind between mirrors and emotions, The gift of life: breathes from the world, photos of the book Shots of light: travel and meetings of a psychotherapist. He was invited to exhibit the photos of the book at the contemporary art associatiom “Ponti. Transversate Culturali”by Leonardo Cumbo. His latest exhibitions is Touched eyes of the world; he was selected for the 2019 World Water Day photo contest, he took part in Transformations by Eros Di Prima and Noemi Ballacchino (for the conference L'arte che Cura) and currently he has started the photographic experiment "I am the other ". Two of his photos have been selected by National Geographic and Vogue.
