Flavia Cocca - VOOSA ART
Set designer, costume designer and illustrator from Caltanissetta , from an early age she developed new languages ​​and new materials in the field of art and sustainable fashion. She obtained her three-year and specialist degree in Scenography, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania with honors. She currently teaches scenography at the Michelangelo Academy of Fine Arts in Agrigento together with the role of set designer and costume designer for the show "Ombre" written by Gaetano Aronica and Adriana Sabbatini who will open the season of the Pirandello Theater in Agrigento. In 2016 she created the scenography for the documentary film: "Ceci n'est pas un cannolo" by Tea Falco, in the following years she worked as a stilyst for Cineska, Turin-based company, an audiovisual production company, she also created several scenographies for participating short films at numerous festivals. In 2018 she was selected for the national arts prize: scenography section. Strongly eclectic personality: from digital illustration, to collage, installations, maquettes, all her creations evoke an ideal world, an art that she herself loves to define ETHICS. This art highlights respect for nature, this is particularly evident from the choice of materials to which it uses in its creations. She focuses her attention on current issues such as that of eco-sustainability. As she said: "My art becomes a project in which creativity becomes a colorful and compelling medium, capable of raising awareness among the viewer. Upstream there is the desire to increase innovation by enhancing new methods, well structured and aware, stimulate for research, also interpreting the proposed material with the desire to transfer personal visual suggestions ".
