Is a doctor specialized in Otolaryngology, Audiology and Phoniatrics, a qualified expert in Obstructive Respiratory Disorders in Sleep.  She collaborated for several years with the National Research Council of Palermo. She has participated in numerous Congresses and Courses, also as a speaker and tutor.  Teacher and Tutor for the EOS / DRS master "Qualified Expert in Obstructive Respiratory Disorders in Sleep" in Bertinoro and Lecce. She in numerous publications in national and international journals. She has carried out the activity of Palliativist Doctor for SAMOT (Terminal Cancer Assistance Society) at home for several years. The main fields of scientific and clinical interest are represented by the diagnosis and therapy of Obstructive Sleeping Respiratory Disorders in the ENT field;  of Tinnitus and Balance Disorders. During her university training the literary passion is irreparably intertwined with the desire to poetise, therefore she founded and directed the first university newspaper "PRIMUM" for three years, inserting for the first time a column dedicated to Art and Letters in the context of  a magazine dedicated to medicine.  During these years she has conducted interviews and reviews on artists and writers such as Aldo Gerbino, Paolo Ruffilli, Ugo Entità, Franco Spena, Sebastiano Milluzzo, Agostino Riitano.  From here the experiment of fusion between science, technical language and lyricism began, embracing the various aspects and imprinting them in a sensory web up to the spasm, in order to stop the reader to observe the writing and make it three-dimensional, involving all the senses,  in a polysemy that makes interpretation free.  In 2014 she created a personal writing page "Singhiozzi di_versi Amar_Anto"  with over 2000 followers.  She was co-author, in the edition "Agenda di Poesia" 2017, 2018 and 2019. Author of the introduction to the book dedicated to "Living in Assisi", she participated in several cultural events with different relationships in combination between art and medicine: PKN  (Pecha Kucha) "The 5 senses specialist", "Dalì and the So (g) n_no", to name a few.  Presentation of the Author Agostino Riitano with the book "Artisans of the Imaginary".  Author and actress of a theatrical monologue for the performance with the Academy of the Lost "You are the Word".  The arrangement of a text for a generally lyrical-pop song is in progress. She has published two anthologies: Empatica Estesia (2014) and Luce (2018).  Editor of an online column of culture "Logos & Imago" in the Caltanissetta Live newspaper.
